Empirical
Welcome to your Empirical Micron Reference Card!
We want you to get the most out of each coffee. That’s why all of our coffees come with a specially curated recipe and a recommended micron grind size. Having this precise baseline takes the guesswork out of dialing in, meaning less wasted coffee and a better cup, faster.
We standardize our recipes by micron size to highlight the unique tasting notes of each roast. If you’re already using a grinder with built-in micron readings, you might not need this card. Otherwise, it’s the simplest way to match our recipe at home.
Free shipping on orders over $40. Orders under $40 incur a flat $5 shipping fee. Dispatched within 1–3 business days. No returns are allowed after dispatch.
Match your grinder's setting against the printed micron scale to quickly cross-check grind size for pour-over, Aeropress, and espresso. Keep it by your grinder for fast recipe dial-ins.
